Requirements
  • MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP preferred
  • 8+ years of field medical experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience developing and leading large & high-performing teams
Responsibilities
  • Oversee, recruit, develop, and retain a large team of high-performing team of Regional Directors (RDs) and Field-based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
  • Monitor performance metrics, provide direction, and offer timely feedback to RDs
  • Develop and implement medical scientific engagement and clinical trial acceleration plans
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support life cycle management and enable clinical trial acceleration across the I&I portfolio
  • Demonstrate and communicate the value and impact of field medical to senior leaders
  • Lead identification and interactions with KOLs in designated disease areas at national, regional, and local levels
  • Gather and share customer insights with internal stakeholders to improve processes, materials, and identify business opportunities
  • Oversee appropriate scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs, and site investigators
  • Ensure balanced communication of medical and scientific information on pipeline programs
  • Direct field-based Medical attendance and coverage at congresses and meetings
  • Contribute to meeting planning efforts through collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Leverage data sets to enable better decision-making on resourcing, territory planning, and KOL/site engagement
  • Support the implementation of field-focused AI tools to enable next best action for field staff
  • Ensure team compliance with Sanofi policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and US laws & regulations
