We’re Thalo Labs, a NYC-based company on a mission to transform the built environment into a powerful tool for fighting climate change. Where others see buildings as part of the problem, we see an incredible opportunity to leverage existing infrastructure to not only accelerate drawdown, but to transform the built environment from one of the biggest carbon emitters to a carbon sink. Our technology combines proprietary sensing, software, and capture systems to accurately measure, significantly reduce, and directly capture a building’s onsite greenhouse gasses in real time.
Our team has built self-driving cars at Waymo, worked on satellite imagery at Google, designed systems for John Deere, developed space missions for NASA, engineered bikes for Peloton, led manufacturing design for Boom Supersonic jets, and more. We are united by our shared goal of making products that
help us decarbonize today and accelerate drawdown globally.
As the Head of Commercialization, you’ll be responsible for driving our go-to-market strategy, driving new business opportunities, and developing & innovating in the emerging world of sustainable and carbon finance markets. You’re a creative leader, experienced working across the sustainability landscape and adept at developing and incentivizing financial instruments for carbon markets, renewable energy markets, or other climate focused product markets.
You can also tackle both high level strategies and hands-on sales, seizing the unique opportunities in the sustainability sector from both market demand and novel financing mechanisms. With a collaborative, action-oriented approach, you’ll also refine our product market-fit in partnership with the Head of Engineering to ensure we are meeting customer needs and scale through effective go-to-market strategies and ingenious financing strategies. We are looking for someone who has been successful at an early stage startup through growth and wants back in.
If you’re eager to grow a pioneering climate tech startup in Brooklyn, let’s chat!
