- Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Meet all Department of Transportation medical and drug-free requirements.
- Carry at least 75 pounds.
- Lift boxes up to 3.6 cubic feet and 105 pounds for 4–5 hours daily.
- Sit in and get into and out of a vehicle cab for 2–3 hours daily.
- Steer and drive a vehicle, including shifting a standard transmission, as required.

- Have knowledge of the geography of the area.
- Hold a Commercial Driver's License with a hazardous materials endorsement.
- Work overtime during the off-season and mandatory overtime during the season and inventory.
- Provide support for daily branch operations by making deliveries, pulling orders, and putting away stock.
- Make deliveries to and pick up shipments from customers, other branches or warehouses, and vendors or suppliers.
- Pull customer orders.
- Load and unload shipments and deliveries using proper equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance functions according to Department of Transportation regulations.
- Comply with all federal, state, and company requirements pertaining to motor vehicle laws and accident reporting.
- Maintain daily trip logs, pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports, and monthly fuel reports.
- Prepare products for shipment via UPS, FedEx, and common carriers.
- Receive shipments from UPS, FedEx, and common carriers.
- Handle and process paperwork for damaged products.
- Prepare returns and reclaims for shipment, including the appropriate paperwork.
- Break down and put away stock using proper equipment.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously by name when known.
- Answer telephones promptly and courteously, identifying yourself and the company.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Assist at the counter as needed.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment inside and outside, including emptying trash, sweeping floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Perform related jobs as required.
