Unimarket provides a cloud-based eProcurement platform that connects a broad supplier marketplace with purchasing, invoice management, and card payment features in a single SaaS system. Users browse a catalog-driven marketplace to find and buy items, while suppliers manage their data on the same platform. The product integrates requisition, approval workflows, purchase orders, invoicing, and payments into one streamlined process. Unlike tools that only handle one part of procurement, Unimarket combines catalog management, ordering, invoicing, and card payments to automate end-to-end purchasing. The company’s goal is to increase purchasing visibility, shorten cycle times, reduce manual work and duplication, and help organizations leverage their buying power more effectively through subscription-based access.

Strategic insights: the new Contract Management Dashboard.

Strategic insights: the new Contract Management Dashboard. Unimarket is excited to introduce the Contract Management Dashboard in NOVA Contracts, a powerful new tool designed to provide procurement leaders and contract managers with real-time visibility into their organization's contract portfolio. By transforming complex data into actionable visual insights, the dashboard helps you manage risk, optimize spend, and ensure timely renewals. Contract performance at a glance. The dashboard features four high-impact metric tiles that provide an immediate snapshot of your contract health: * Total Contract Value: Instantly see the aggregated monetary value of your entire contract portfolio based on your active filters. * Active Contracts: A real-time count of all contracts currently in an "Active" state. * Expired Contracts: Stay ahead of compliance risks with a clear count of contracts that have passed their end date. * Due for Renewal: Proactively manage your pipeline with a count of contracts approaching their renewal or alert dates. Visualizing your portfolio. Beyond simple totals, the dashboard offers several interactive visualizations to help you drill down into the details: 1. Contract status breakdown. A donut chart that groups all contracts by their current stage in the lifecycle. To simplify your view, all workflow-related statuses are grouped into a single "Review & Approve" category, alongside Active and Pending states. 2. Expiring vs. Renewing (6-month forecast). This bar chart provides a forward-looking view of the next six months. It displays the total monetary value of contracts set to expire versus those set to renew each month, allowing for better financial and resource planning. Quickly identify where your contracts are concentrated. These charts display the top 10 contract types and UNSPSC categories by count, helping you understand your organization's procurement patterns. Powerful filtering for targeted analysis. The dashboard is fully interactive. You can filter all tiles and charts by: * Contract End Date: View data for specific timeframes (e.g., Last 6 Months, Next 12 Months). * Contract Owner: Analyze the workload and portfolio of specific team members. * Organization Unit: Drill down into specific departments or business units. * Category: Filter by UNSPSC category to see data relevant to specific spend areas. Getting started. The Contract Management Dashboard is now available for all Nova Contracts customers.

New: automated & Tiered retention management.

New: automated & Tiered retention management. Managing contract retentions just got a whole lot smarter. Unimarket Holdings Limited has introduced a suite of updates to the Contracts module that automate complex retention calculations, support tiered schedules, and provide full transparency into how your retention totals are derived. Support for tiered retention schedules. You can now define "tiered" retention schedules directly within the Contract Security record. This is perfect for capital works contracts that require different rates at different stages of the project (e.g., 10% on the first $200k, 5% thereafter). * Flexible Brackets: Define multiple rows with "From" and "To" values. * Gap Validation: The system automatically ensures your brackets are continuous, preventing calculation errors. * Remainder Handling: Easily set an "And above" bracket to cover all costs exceeding your final defined limit. * Simple | Tiered Toggle: Switch between a flat rate and a complex schedule with a single click. Automated calculations on Payment Certificates. When creating a Payment Certificate, you can now link it to a defined Retention record. * Instant Math: The system automatically calculates the retention amount based on the contractor's claim. * Cumulative History: For tiered retentions, the system looks at the cumulative history of payments on the contract. It accurately determines which bracket the current claim falls into, even if a single payment spans across two different brackets. * Manual Overrides: Need to make a tweak? You can still manually override the calculated value while keeping the original calculation as a reference. Full calculation transparency. Unimarket Holdings Limited has added a Retention Breakdown Summary to the Payment Certificate view. This provides a human-readable explanation of the math, such as: $100,000 at 10% = $10,000 // $50,000 at 5% = $2,500 This ensures both you and your contractors have full visibility into how the final retention sum was reached. Data integrity & safety. * Locked Configurations: Once a tiered schedule is confirmed, it is locked to prevent accidental edits while it's being used by active certificates. * Draft Protection: Calculations only trigger for "Draft" certificates, ensuring that your Submitted or Approved records remain unchanged even if the underlying security record is updated. How to get started: * Navigate to Contracts > [Select Contract] > Security. * Add or Edit a Retention record and select Tiered as the Schedule Type. * Head over to your Payment Certificates and select your new retention record to see the automation in action!
