Within GR&S, the Enterprise Security and Fraud (ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. We are the trusted advisors that protect the pride of Vanguard with state-of-the-art security and fraud capabilities. In this role, you will:
- Lead efforts that oversee the integration and modernization of endpoints.(Mac and Windows)
- Assist in determining security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; identify integration issues.
- Assist in the planning of the security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
- Upgrade security systems by monitoring security environment; identify security gaps; implement enhancements.
- Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders.
- Utilize a general understanding of the competitive landscape and corporate/business unit strategies to provide context for security architectural decision making.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Certification- CISSP preferred. GSEC preferred.
- Expertise and proficiency in endpoint security technologies, such as EDR and EPP platforms.
- Strong security background in endpoint os platforms (Windows / Mac OS)
- Strong knowledge of network topologies and security measures (ex. network segmentation)
- Endpoint security experience utilizing MDM platforms.
- Endpoint Zero Trust architecture experience preferred.
- Knowledge of endpoint security baseline configurations through DISA STIGs preferred.
