Requirements

- 10+ years of solution architecture design and implementation experience across several of the following disciplines:
- Networking (WAN, Campus and Data Center)
- Cyber Security and Security Operations including Threat Hunting
- Virtualization, Containers and Automation
- Public and Hybrid Cloud
- Enterprise Storage and Data Protection
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Platforms and Processes
- Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- IT Service Management
- Ability to implement new technologies to perform functional and performance load testing in a lab environment in order to evaluate new and disruptive technologies
- Knowledge of services delivery best practices
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and establish credibility in an inviting and friendly way
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Industry certifications in any of the above areas are valued. Networking, Cyber Security, Public Cloud, Automation and Analytics certifications, in addition to relevant experience, will be given higher consideration
Responsibilities
- Be conversant in key technology trends and concepts with the ability to develop and relate customized business cases for a variety of industry verticals
- Be able to tailor the depth of technical knowledge for the appropriate audience in a conversational, story-telling manner
- Be able to deliver simplified, not simple, and relevant answers to decision makers while also having the ability to go deeper technically with the technologists on their teams
- Be able to coordinate and facilitate technical teams including other Verinext Subject Matter Experts, Vendor Engineers and Customer Technologists to design and integrate strategic solutions
- Align with the Area Sales Manager and Line of Business Leaders to be the technical leader in the region by managing relationships with key solution providers including but not limited to software providers, cloud solution providers (SaaS and Infrastructure), hardware manufacturers and various service providers
- Align with the Area Sales Manager and Sales Teams for strategic customer engagements across all areas of Cyber Security, IT Operations, and Automation
- For this role, knowledge of Development platforms is valuable. If you are not experienced in those toolsets you will have the opportunity to develop that knowledge through interaction with our thought leaders in our Forty8Fifty Labs subsidiary (www.forty8fiftylabs.com)
