  • 10+ years of experience in developer experience, developer relations, or a similar leadership role within the technology or fintech industry, with a proven track record of driving successful developer-focused initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for developer experience that aligns with company objectives and market needs.
  • Deep empathy for developers and a commitment to delivering solutions that enhance their experience and success.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership and external partners.

  • Comfortable troubleshooting issues developers face and iterating on solutions that improve their experience.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the overall developer experience strategy, focusing on innovation, ease of integration, and accelerating clients' time to value.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the next-generation DevHub, creating a centralized platform that provides developers with the tools, resources, and documentation they need to integrate Socure's solutions effortlessly.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of APIs to ensure they are robust, intuitive, and facilitate rapid integration, thereby accelerating time-to-revenue growth.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to simplify integration processes, reducing friction for clients and enabling faster deployment of Socure's solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships to align developer experience initiatives with business goals and ensure cohesive execution across the organization.
  • Build and nurture a strong developer community through events, forums, and partnerships, fostering engagement and gathering feedback to continuously improve the developer experience.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of developer experience initiatives, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the developer experience team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's success and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in developer experience and API design to ensure Socure remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for Socure's developer experience initiatives at industry events, conferences, and with key clients and partners.
