Position requires onsite presence in Saratoga, CA.
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree / PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Personally led the design, development and launch of a LEO constellation
- Personally designed and retained deep knowledge of satellite subsystems including structures, solar panels, power systems and GNC
- Skilled at actively managing trades from/between each subsystem group
- Extensive experience with satellite systems and missions
- Deep understanding of the principles of spacecraft design, manufacture, assembly, integration, test and operation
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to travel on short trips as needed
- Establish and maintain a technical project plan to design, develop, test and deliver the system and system components in accordance with overall program cost, schedule and technical performance targets
- Lead the technical team in solving hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem
- Manage the following departments and sub-systems: Space Systems (Bus, Environmental); Systems Engineering (Satellite and Comms integration); Payload & Satellite Comms Systems (Comms & RF, Core & Transport, Traffic Engineering, Support Systems, Testing and Q&A); and Mission Operations (Program Management, Launch)
