Requirements
  • A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or a technical diploma with established experience in the role.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing industrial or water-treatment plants.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical drawing and the interpretation of diagrams and projects.
  • Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent design software.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, preferably SAP.
  • Good knowledge of technical regulations, workplace safety, and compliance-documentation management.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
  • Design water-treatment plants and concentrate plants for new installations as well as modifications and upgrades to existing plants.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and plant layouts.
  • Size components and define technical specifications.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, including manuals, declarations of conformity, certifications, and as-built documentation.
  • Define instructions and diagrams for the electrical and hydraulic assembly of plants.
  • Prepare and sign electrical and hydraulic declarations of conformity in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on electrical design.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to select and qualify new components.
  • Support the validation and coding of new materials and components.
  • Collaborate with the technical team in Germany and with Sales and Service functions.
  • Ensure the continuous updating of plant-engineering records, technical data sheets, and product documentation.
  • Contribute to developing company standards, guidelines, and best practices.
