Requirements
  • Hold an active Registered Behavior Technician certification, a recognized and accepted 40-hour RBT training certificate, or work experience as a Behavior Technician in applied behavior analysis.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one year of experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
  • Be able to obtain CPR certification before the employment start date.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Have experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
  • Be able to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team.
  • Have the physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, and squat throughout the day.
  • Be comfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting.
Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
  • Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies.
  • Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
