Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift, between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM, covering approximately 1 in 4 Saturdays. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center and University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Oncology to:

• Provide exemplary patient care in conjunction with interdisciplinary team members across oncology infusion areas and ambulatory care settings.

• Perform clinical verification of chemotherapy orders, including oral chemotherapy

• Provide and execute management strategies for hypersensivity reactions and other supportive care requirements for oncology treatments.

• Practice through delegation protocols to manage chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, electrolyte imbalance, potential chemotherapy toxicities, and achieve therapeutic drug levels.

• Ensure appropriate utilization of medications to optimize patient outcomes.

PGY2 in oncology pharmacy or previous work experience in oncology highly desired.
