Responsibilities
- Perform quality control analysis of incoming, manufacturing, and outgoing material
- Record and maintain analysis/records accurately
- Prioritize daily laboratory activities to meet production schedules
- Perform instrument maintenance, calibrations, and quality control checks
- Provide technical support to operations and sales
- Maintain a clean and neat laboratory at all times
- Adhere to safety SOPPs
- Initiate corrective actions on identified non-capable procedures or practices
- Maintain and properly store sample retains
- Address customer product complaints and returns through investigation and analysis
- Communicate concerns about standard laboratory procedures, operational problems, quality trends, etc.
- Promote complete customer satisfaction through quality and service
- Perform QC checks of analytical procedures
- Perform and complete analyses, projects, and revisions of quality policies
- Assist in the preparation of the Quality Control Laboratory budget
- Assist in the preparation of the 'Monthly QC Laboratory Report'
- Willing to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Provide back-up support as necessary
