Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-year, high impact, experience design strategies across a complex portfolio of products and personas.
  • Create north-star artifacts that inspire and provoke customer-focused roadmaps and designs and align short-term work to longer-term impact.
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand and align customer and business goals and influence product strategy.
  • Lead a team of designers focused on improving the end to end experience of our core product offering, Clio Manage.
  • Lead the evolution of Clio Manage so that the experience can easily scale as Clio expands into new international markets.
  • Lead the evolution of Clio Manage so that it can be easily customized as we scale to support new practice areas (e.g., personal injury, family law, legal aid, etc.).
  • Lead the evolution of Manage so that the experience can scale to support the needs of our growing customer base with a specific focus on moving up-market and supporting larger firm sizes and more complex multi-user workflows.
  • Work with peers across the product design team to align and deliver a cohesive platform experience focused on delivering a comprehensive, delightful and integrated experience across the entire Clio ecosystem.
  • Drive clarity and alignment across design efforts, across initiative and product boundaries.
  • Contribute to frameworks for assessing and scaling design quality.
  • Contribute to process and operations to mature and scale design.
  • Build a high-performing team; invest in coaching and career development; attracting, hiring and retaining top talent; and delivering high-quality outcomes for our customers and our business.

Clio provides legal practice management software that helps law firms operate more efficiently. Its two main products, Clio Grow and Clio Manage, serve different purposes: Clio Grow is designed to enhance the client intake process and improve engagement with clients, while Clio Manage allows law firms to organize tasks, manage cases, handle documents, and process payments all in one platform. Clio caters to a diverse clientele, from solo practitioners to large law firms, and operates on a subscription model, charging users monthly or annually for access to its software. The goal of Clio is to streamline legal operations, reduce administrative tasks, and support the growth of legal practices.
