Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in a scientific or technical field related to biology, biochemistry, or chemistry, plus 2 or more years of work experience in the life sciences sector.
  • Ability to maintain and operate sensitive laboratory equipment, including liquid handlers, automated imagers, and microscopes.
  • General laboratory experience and knowledge, including pipetting and preparing buffer solutions.
  • Ability to work efficiently, deliver detailed results within defined timelines, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with protein expression or protein activity and binding assays.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the internal Structural Biology and Biophysics teams by supporting routine and novel insights for multiple drug programs.
  • Work with laboratory operations staff and external vendors to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
  • Collaborate with members of the Lead Discovery team, including protein sciences, biochemistry, and mass spectrometry, to characterize small-molecule ligand binding and establish structure–activity relationships.
  • Carry out and optimize crystallography and biophysical experiments to support drug discovery projects and deliver high-quality scientific data and insights.
  • Take the lead on laboratory equipment operation and maintenance, execute structural experiments, and communicate results to Lead Discovery and project teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry experience or academic training in aspects of the X-ray crystallography workflow, including setting screens, crystal optimization, and crystal harvesting.
  • Experience with biophysical characterization of protein or small-molecule interactions, including surface plasmon resonance, biolayer interferometry, microscale thermophoresis, and isothermal titration calorimetry.

Treeline Biosciences has signed a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Roche for a Phase I study assessing the combination of Treeline's BCL6 degrader, TLN-121, with Roche's CD20xCD3 T-cell-engaging bispecific antibodies, glofitamab (Columvi) and mosunetuzumab (Lunsumio), in patients with B-cell lymphomas (BCL). The trial will assess the combinations in separate cohorts, including individuals with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Under the collaboration, Treeline Biosciences will sponsor and oversee the Phase I dose-escalation and expansion study, with Roche supplying glofitamab and mosunetuzumab for particular expansion cohorts. Treeline intends to start combination dosing in these cohorts in the fourth quarter of 2026.
