The Costume Support Manager will support Disney Cruise Line (DCL) by providing various levels of assistance with inventory, space planning, and process evaluation. The Costume Support Manager must maintain 360-degree influence and problem-solve so all collaborators feel confident about the decisions.
You will report to the Area Manager of DCL Costume Support.
This is a full-time role.
What You Will Do
Support strategic planning for the Disney Parks Live Entertainment Costuming team through report development and data analytics.
Develop reporting solutions using Tableau and SSRS.
Design, create, and lead MSSQL tables to support data and reporting needs.
Provide ongoing data verification and conduct complex data analysis using statistical techniques, conceptual thinking skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
Lead Costuming SQL server tasks such as creating accounts for users and assigning security levels.
Develop analytical tools and metrics to assist in complex operational decision-making and support business requests in a fast-paced environment.
Complete process improvement evaluations and implement solutions.
Lead and prioritize report requests from multiple areas.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or analytics
Experience with shipping logistics and manifests
Experience analyzing business processes, making sound business judgments, and solving problems
Experience making decisions with minimal direction on sophisticated multi-team efforts
Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail
Experience communicating and providing feedback (verbal and written) with all levels of partner
Experience gaining consensus in a way that all parties feel heard
Experience contributing to a positive work environment
Experience with analytics, tools, and other key functional systems
Ability to travel between work locations on a given day
Ability to work around all types of fabrics, fibers, and synthetic furs
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with the cruise ship industry
Experience using Costuming Operating Management Inventory Tool (COMIT), Yunique, SAP, and JIRA or equivalent programming and database languages, with the ability to learn new applications and analytical tools
Experience using reporting tools Garment Utilization System (GUS+)
Experience working with garment specifications
Multilingual (Spanish, French, Vietnamese, and/or Tagalog)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is required
