Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience using Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Web Services, and Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData)
  • Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce.com platform capabilities, functionalities, and limitations specifically around governor limits and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration including configuration, standard data model, security, and automations such as validation rules and workflows
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for improving education through technology
Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base
  • Lead projects throughout key phases of the Salesforce development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with business partners, engineers, and business systems analysts to determine Salesforce needs and help implement best practices
  • Drive the development process for your team, including design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
  • Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations
  • Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products
