Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with Java and Java-based automation frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience testing large and distributed software systems.
- Experience with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins or equivalent tools.
- Prior experience developing test plans, writing automated tests, executing tests, documenting test results, and performing critical bug-fix and hot-fix testing.
- Prior experience working on systems built with Java Virtual Machine-based technologies, including Java and other languages.
- Familiarity with databases and Structured Query Language.
- Hands-on experience working on backend systems deployed on Linux distributions.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in small cross-functional teams using agile methodology.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Core Platform Quality Assurance Engineering team.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Java.
- Test a massively distributed system with multiple components.
- Create test plans, write automated tests, execute tests, and prepare test reports.
- Work with continuous integration products such as Jenkins.
- Prototype new technical ideas and incorporate successful ideas into test suites or the platform.
- Perform manual tests in addition to test automation.
