What You’ll Learn

Project: Disaggregated Storage Software

What You’ll Do

Implement features in Disaggregated storage software, a high-performance object storage solution.
Design and add features like Filesystem view of S3 Object store, Erasure coding in DSS RDD data path and adding load balancing features in object storage & storage targets.
Work closely with the team to design/develop features, attend daily standups, update the JIRA tasks assigned to them and send out weekly status reports.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

What You Bring

Bachelor/Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Architecture or related field.
Strong software engineering skills with efficient, maintainable and testable Golang/C/C++ and Python is required.
Experience in storage system and/or database software design & development, debug.
Strong knowledge about File Systems, Object Storage or similar technologies
Good working knowledge of the Linux Operating System and File Systems
Good understanding of general filesystem and software internals.
Understanding of load balancing concepts and experience is preferred.
