  • AFM experience – Our current toolset includes tools such as the Bruker Dimension Icon.
  • SEM/EDS experience – Our current SEM toolset consists of Hitachi and Zeiss SEMs.
  • The ideal candidate has experience with related materials analysis and characterization tools & techniques and can prepare effective analysis reports with accurate, detailed data.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Has a strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team-oriented environment are essential.
  • Demonstrates desire to learn other technical tools.
  • Can communicate effectively (verbal and written) both with peers and customers.
  • Has familiarity and knowledge of computers and Windows based software.
  • Past hands-on materials analysis laboratory environment/experience a plus.

  • performing multiple failure analysis techniques to characterize media and other HDD components
  • support both development and manufacture of HDD media
