Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program.
- At least two years of outpatient clinic experience.
- A current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse license issued by the State of California.
- A current Basic Life Support Provider certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- A current Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certificate issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and use of fax, copier, and telephone equipment.
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new-hire physicals, PPD testing, mask-fit testing, and Workers' Compensation injuries.
- Perform nursing services requiring technical and manual skills under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Work Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with flexibility of hours.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a multispecialty clinic setting.
- Experience in Workers' Compensation or insurance.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.
