The Role:
The Inventory Associate will provide support to the Operations Team in maintaining an accurate inventory system. The successful candidate will maintain product data, investigate inventory discrepancies, allocate stock, field requests from other departments and make recommendations for process improvement as necessary.
What you’ll do:
- Complete daily cycle counts and weekly warehouse counts
- Move inventory within a warehouse
- Manage inventory request from multiple teams
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and discover root cause of issue
- Create, organize and manage bin locations
- Help locating inventory in different locations in the warehouse
- Support the Supervisor with any ad hoc tasks
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s in Business focused on Supply Chain Management
- 1-2 years prior experience in a warehouse inventory role
- Proficiency with computer software such as Google Drive/Sheets/Docs and warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- A positive attitude and friendly personality
Things we consider an asset:
- Knowledge of jewelry and/or jewelry materials (gold, vermeil, diamonds, etc.)
- Familiarity with Slack, and/or Fulfil.io
