Axle is seeking a Project Manager to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) located in Rockville, MD.
Required Skills:
Experience with managing virtual teams
Familiar with waterfall and agile methodologies
Meticulous organization (e.g. document and information management skills)
Ability to be self-directed, ability to anticipate business unit needs, take initiative, and follow through on assignments and work well in a cross-functional and interdisciplinary team
Ability to remain positive and calm under deadline pressure
Ability to collaborate and work with team members of all levels with utmost professionalism
Very strong interpersonal skills required with excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office required, Google Drive experience in team settings is strongly preferred
Supervision Received:
Work is performed under the direction of the Program Manager and Director
Supervision Exercised:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Informatics, Science Management or closely related field
