Requirements
  • Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required
  • Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio Department of Health required
  • Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program required
  • Maintains registry and/or certification & licensing status; meets mandatory continuing education and health surveillance requirements
  • Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
Responsibilities
  • Performs nuclear medicine *In vivo* and *In* *vitro* procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation (including SPECT and PET)
  • Accomplishes computer processing and image enhancement
  • Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic and therapeutic interpretation, under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine/PET Imaging Supervisor, and Imaging Services Leadership.
