Requirements
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience is required, with multifamily experience preferred.
  • Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, are required.
  • Working knowledge of appliances is required.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Comfort diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues is required.
  • Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently is required.
  • Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools is required.
  • Proficiency with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology is required.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and work indoors and outdoors under varied weather conditions is required.
  • Ability to perform regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and use of hands and arms is required.
  • Ability to respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms and use close, distance, color, and depth vision and adjust focus is required.
Responsibilities
  • Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
  • Participate in move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely and follow chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain a personal tool inventory.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.
  • Support and guide Technician I team members when needed.
  • Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
  • Use a personal computer for administrative tasks and mobile devices while working in the field.
Desired Qualifications
  • Multifamily maintenance experience.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification, where applicable.
