Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella formally unveils first EDC Las Vegas "World Party" Parade.

Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella formally unveils first EDC Las Vegas "World Party" Parade. Insomniac Events founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella has formally unveiled the first-ever EDC World Party Parade. In a social media post shared today, Rotella officially confirmed details for the electronic music parade, which will shut down the Las Vegas Strip with a procession of over 30 art cars, "moving renegade sound systems," and hundreds of performers on Thursday, May 14 - the day before EDC's 30th anniversary edition begins. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome, with "P.L.U.R. strictly enforced," according to the flyer. Check it out below. "World Party Parade is unlike anything we've done before. Bringing people together to celebrate dance music culture right on the Las Vegas Strip through a music parade is something we've dreamed about for a long time," Rotella wrote. "We want to share this powerful culture with everyone, especially those experiencing it for the first time. There's something transformative about it. It's therapeutic, it brings people together, and it has the power to positively impact lives." His statement continued in part: "This is about giving back to the culture, to the community, and to the city of Vegas, which has been such an important part of our journey." Insomniac's flagship EDC Las Vegas will celebrate 30 years when it returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with performances from 200 top DJs from May 15-17.

Insomniac launches new Seattle venue Level 1 with MEDUZA.

Insomniac launches new Seattle venue Level 1 with MEDUZA. March 23, 2026 Seattle's electronic music scene is getting a major new addition. Insomniac has officially announced its first show at Level 1, a newly developed underground venue in downtown Seattle created in partnership with Bumbershoot. The venue will make its debut on March 27, with global house trio MEDUZA set to headline the opening night. Located beneath Cannonball Arts, Level 1 is a purpose-built, 1,800-capacity space designed specifically for electronic music. The venue aims to deliver a fully immersive club experience. It will feature a custom House Under Magic sound system powered by Danley and a lighting installation by Maktive. A new home for underground dance music. Level 1 sits within the larger Cannonball Arts project. It's a newly launched contemporary arts center from the team behind Seattle's long-running Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival. The team transformed a former retail space into a multi-purpose cultural hub. With a focus on house, techno, and experimental electronic sounds, Level 1 is positioning itself as a dedicated home for underground dance music in the Pacific Northwest. The venue plans to host international touring artists, live performances, and late-night programming throughout the year. Insomniac expands its footprint. The MEDUZA show marks Insomniac's first official partnership event at Level 1. This is signaling a continued expansion of the brand's presence beyond its flagship festivals and into curated venue programming. The venue has already added more shows to the calendar, including a May 8 performance from techno artist Rebekah, with more announcements on the way. As demand for immersive club experiences continues to grow across major U.S. cities, Level 1 enters the scene as a purpose-built space designed to meet that moment - blending high-end production with a focus on underground culture. More information on the venue can be found HERE
