Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience managing and developing a team
  • Knowledge of Insurance (Health & Welfare and/or Property & Casualty) is a plus but not required
  • SQL & Excel knowledge is a plus
  • Project management experience related to systems/vendor implementation and/or process improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented with great time management skills
  • Experience working collaboratively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience with ticket management systems and workflows required
  • Vendor management experience required
  • You like working with people and helping others solve problems

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 6-8 professionals resolving insurance benefits-related issues
  • Establish and improve KPIs with internal customers
  • Forecast and plan future ticket volume
  • Maintain working relationship between Benefits and Customer Success Organization
  • Manage insurance carrier and provider relationships
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, Federal and State requirements
  • Maintain internal resource center for each Justworks Life & Leave benefit offering
  • Oversee audits and billing process
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams
  • Collaborate with Program Management on operational processes for annual policy renewals
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
