Topstep connects aspiring retail futures traders with a funded trading path. It provides a simulated trading environment, coaching, and objective evaluation tools that let traders practice, learn risk management, and build the discipline needed for professional trading. Traders complete a performance-based evaluation in a simulated account, meeting defined profit targets and risk limits to qualify for a funded live account. This makes funding contingent on demonstrable skill and consistency rather than just capital. Topstep distinguishes itself by offering a clear, rules-based path to funding, coaching resources, and a structured environment designed to cultivate professional habits. The company’s goal is to help people safely learn, improve, and eventually trade with company-provided capital in real markets.
