Internship Term: January - August 2025 Co-Op (Start and end dates not negotiable) 

Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Fall 2025 and 2028. Note that if your university has specific requirements for internship programs, it is your responsibility to fulfill those requirements. 

This intern will work to develop, deploy and implement virtual commissioning environments to enable engineers to test control software before implementation onsite.

• Aid in the development of a stable standard platform for robotics.
  
• Aid in the continuous improvement of the virtual commissioning platform. Identifying and plugging gaps in the current platform.
  
• Aid in the continuous improvement of the Process Simulate add-in (C# & .NET) namely keeping up with the feature requests coming in from suppliers and internal users.
  
• - Undertake simulation and virtual commissioning projects both internally and externally.

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

• Experience in using CAD packages such as NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Catia etc.
• Experience or keen interest in Controls Engineering (PLCs, Robotics, Networking).
• Experience or interest in Industrial Robotics.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for short duration

Salary Range/HourlyRate for Internships:The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on location, and other factorspermittedby law.

Rivianprovidesrobust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
