Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a clerical or technical support position, or a combination of substantial experience and education, is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required, including the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and support business needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving are required.
  • The role requires human relations skills to maintain positive client contacts and provide leadership and motivation to staff members and peers when required.
  • The ability to undertake short- and long-term planning for efficient and effective scheduling of work assignments is required.
  • Advanced skills using modern office equipment are required.
  • Advanced skills in office automation software, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation, mail, calendar, and scheduler programs, are required, along with the ability to learn additional programs.
  • Advanced clerical skills and strong arithmetic skills are required.
  • The ability to prioritize and handle routine and non-routine business matters simultaneously without supervision is required.
  • The role requires working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
Responsibilities
  • Direct day-to-day general office duties and administrative activity.
  • Prepare quotations for clients, including ABS offices.
  • Coordinate project scheduling and staffing.
  • Check subcontractor reports for issuance to clients, and ensure inspection reports are received on time and forwarded to all concerned parties.
  • Follow up with staff and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and to client satisfaction.
  • Resolve work-related client issues involving scope of work, quality of work, and billing.
  • Prepare monthly cash-flow and revenue-margin reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
