Requirements
  • Student working towards a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar associated discipline.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous internship experience or work-related experience.
  • Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements (SAE teams, etc..)
Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material
  • Utilize Creo 3D modeling software integrated with software such as Routed Systems Designer to manage or develop wiring schematics, wiring harnesses, and electronic components
  • Ensure design compliance to various regulations and standards across multiple regions and markets
  • Select and/or design components for function, cost, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Interact with suppliers
  • Interact with various other engineering groups and disciplines within the organization
  • Work with controls / software engineers and communicate associated design implications and requirements involving electrical / electronic systems design
  • Utilize multimeters / oscilloscopes, Controller Area Network (CAN) tools, and proprietary programming tools for design, validation, and interrogation
