About the Position:
The Student Administration Services team is seeking a proactive Timetabling and Scheduling Officer, internally referred to as an Education Resources Officer, to provide planning, scheduling and operational support.
In this multi-faceted role, you will manage and resolve class timetables, coordinate audits of teaching spaces, and partner with Topic Coordinators and teaching staff to resolve clashes and registration issues. You will identify opportunities to improve timetabling approaches, enhancing efficiencies and outcomes for students.
About You
The Timetabling and Scheduling Officer will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills which allows them to collaborate with teaching and professional staff to achieve successful outcomes. Your problem solving and time management skills will be the key to your success as you prove your ability to meet strict deadlines, exercise initiative and judgment in high pressure situations and deliver solutions to problems that may arise.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience or understanding of scheduling, timetabling, or class management in an education environment or equivalent.
- Knowledge of education administrative business processes and relevant policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in managing timetabling and class management data.
