Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 9 years of experience; 7 years with Master’s Degree; 4 years with PhD for Sr. Principal Engineer (T4)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master’s Degree; 0 years with PhD for Principal Engineer (T3)
  • Basic understanding of E3 and EMI principles and techniques
  • An understanding of mechanical and electrical designs, functions, integration, and interfaces.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-464; MIL-STD-461
  • Ability to solve problems and drive tasks to completion.
  • Ability to present engineering findings orally and in written technical reports and presentations.
  • Experience in fast-paced work environment and ability to work in a team environment.
  • US citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Support hardware design engineering to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461 EMI/EMC requirements.
  • Development of the Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility (EMI/EMC) test plans and test procedures to meet the Data Item Descriptions and witness associated testing.
  • Contribute to the development of E3 CDRLs, which may include the E3 Integration and Analysis Report (E3IAR), E3 Verification Procedures (E3VP) and E3 Verification Reports (E3VR).
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of testing methods and equipment.
  • Test planning, execution, reporting, and integration support.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and support formal verification of the system.
  • Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
  • Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component.
  • Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of verification.
  • Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs.
