Job Summary

How would you like to join a talented team of remote empowered developers and contribute to the modernization of some of First American’s customer facing technology?We are in the process of taking an existing AWS-hosted EC2 based application and modernizing it into a collection of reusable components using serverless and container technologies where it makes sense.The core application is using Angular 13, .net Core 3.1 & 6, and SQL server on the back end and we’ve made use of DynamoDB and Lambdas for some of the early component modernization.As a member of the team, you will participate in the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software code for an application which has over 2 million registered users.

Essential Functions

·Experience and solid understanding of Agile SDLC

·Experience creating & supporting software solutions in the Microsoft technology stack (C# .net core 3.1 & 6, IIS, T-SQL)

·Design, code, unit test, debug, and document applications.

·Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be designed, coded, tested and debugged.

·May consult with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation

·Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.

·Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
