Position Summary:
Pax8 is the number 1 place for SaaS vendors to find and acquire new business in the small business ecosystem. This leads to hundreds of SaaS vendors inquiring on how to be listed in our marketplace. In this role, the Vendor Acquisition Intern assists with the vendor acquisition process at Pax8. They facilitate, help qualify vendors as they move through the inquiry process and maintain visibility. They are crucial for us maintain our SLA on replying to vendor marketplace inquiries.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Make sure there are no competitors or Pax8 partners filling out the Marketplace inquire form.
- Respond to all requests within 24 hours (business days only).
- Send out form 2 to all qualified vendors.
- Work with vendor acquisition team to disqualify and notify vendors with a reason.
- Analyze vendors and forms to build summary for acquisition team.
- Maintain reporting links and documentation around acquisition process
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Word
- Ability to bring solutions to challenges and issues.
- Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals
- Desire to go above and beyond to move the business forward
Required Education & Certifications:
- Working towards a degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a rate beginning at $15 per hour or more depending on experience
