- Current State Apprentice Electricians License.
- Ability to pass a background screen.

- Ability to multitask while staying organized.

- Must attend an apprenticeship program.
- Gather tools and supplies to be used at work sites.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
- Trace short circuits in wiring.
- Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors.
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep supplies and parts in order.
- Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Secure, relocate, and organize materials, small tools, and equipment from and back to appropriate storage areas.
- Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse to keep the work area clean.
- Assist in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials.
- Operate hand tools and equipment under the direct supervision of a foreman or more senior electrician.
- Assist in mounting and strapping conduit.
- Assist more senior personnel with electrical installations, connections, and terminations under close supervision.
- Perform other project-related duties and assignments as instructed by a supervisor.
- Do not work on energized circuits or equipment.
- Experience in lighting is a plus.
