Requirements
  • 3-5 years technician experience with field & sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance level or higher.
  • Must possess and maintain a CompTIA Security+ certification within six (6) months of hire.
  • Must meet deployment standards as set forth in, but not limited to, DoD Instruction 3020.41, Operational Contract Support.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel.
  • Must pass a background check to include criminal and credit.
Responsibilities
  • Provide field and sustainment level training & maintenance support to THAAD Fire Units.
  • Support the customer in managing and monitoring the maintenance and sustainment program to include scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications.
  • Perform all maintenance actions and failure troubleshooting that are above the level of the Enhanced Operator/Maintainers (EOM) to include but not limited to: software, hardware, interconnecting cabling, electrical system, and networks.
  • Identify issues, develop, and submit investigation reports to assist program engineers with design changes.
  • Maintain and sustain THAAD Training Devices and related software.
  • Support the customer's training programs through collaboration with our program partners to ensure highly trained and competent service members.
  • Understand the customer's expectations and perceptions to provide the best support possible, focusing on mission, values, and goals.
  • Establish trust and confidence by creating and maintaining open, candid lines of communication with the customer and partner companies & agencies.
  • Teach THAAD system and component overview and all aspects of TFCC functional operations.
  • Teach THAAD Launcher system/Sub System and component overview and all aspects of THAAD Launcher functional operations.
  • Teach maintenance, troubleshooting, and remove & replace procedures for all equipment associated with the THAAD communications.
  • Teach THAAD Doctrine, System Behavior and Engagement Operations.
  • Support remote maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and report operations, battery status, readiness optimization, supply-chain-status.
  • Coordinate Engineering reach-back support while supporting the ULOC, KLOC, or TLOC.
  • Provide reach back support for CLS teams on multiple THAAD contracts.
  • Assist the PM with recruitment and selection.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assist the PM with deployment and transition planning.
  • Track personnel issues and assist with timely resolutions.
  • Manage employee records.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with THAAD or Patriot system(s).
  • Ability to apply appropriate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic operations.
  • Working knowledge of Unix and Linux.
  • Ability to establish and maintain networks (e.g., LAN, WAN, IP address schemes).
  • Basic electrical/mechanical aptitude.
