Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in nursing, biology, health sciences, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, technology, and communication skills are required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing, biology, health sciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • Current healthcare certification or licensure, such as Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, or Medical Laboratory Technician, is preferred.
  • Experience in patient care, nursing skills laboratories, simulation, or healthcare education is preferred.
  • Experience with simulation technologies, instructional equipment, electronic health record systems, audiovisual technologies, and inventory management is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Manage classroom and simulation laboratory preparation, including proper equipment setup and supply availability for nursing instructional laboratories.
  • Collaborate with faculty on developing and implementing laboratory and simulation learning activities.
  • Provide technical assistance to nursing faculty and students, including preparing and maintaining simulation equipment, task trainers, clinical supplies, and instructional technologies.
  • Assist faculty during laboratory and simulation experiences.
  • Order supplies needed for teaching.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with safety and infection prevention protocols.
  • Maintain records and care for departmental assets.
  • Supervise student employees.
Desired Qualifications
