- Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, biotechnology, physics or a related field, and 5+ years of hands on related experience; or equivalent combination of both.

- Independently design and perform experiments, evaluate or troubleshoot prototypes and instrument performance issues.
- Help support, maintain and improve existing laboratory automation systems.
- Ad-hoc instrument troubleshooting, error recovery or repairs.
