Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related or data science field is required; strong knowledge of accounting or finance is a strong plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience selling technology consulting or implementation services with a strong solution-selling foundation is required.
  • Direct sales experience is required, including quotas, transaction volume, and managing sales activities such as calls, demonstrations, and meetings.
  • Experience selling to private equity and venture capital firms, their portfolio companies, and prospective clients with annual revenues of $25–$500 million is a significant plus.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and execute a targeted sales plan.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and developing territories or accounts.
  • Experience prospecting and qualifying sales potential over the phone and web, building a large prospect pipeline, and closing sales.
  • Ability to learn consulting solutions quickly and efficiently, including the value of digital transformation and Armanino's competitive advantages.
  • Ability to present compelling propositions to an executive-level audience.
  • Highly proficient use of customer relationship management systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • A track record of success selling technology solutions, including artificial intelligence, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, financial planning and analysis, and business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft's artificial intelligence ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI services, Copilot for Sales, Dynamics 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Fabric, as well as artificial intelligence capabilities within Workday and Sage Intacct.
  • Ability to build and convey a compelling business case to buyers and influencers at multiple levels, including chief financial officer, chief executive officer, and board-level audiences.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build ongoing relationships with prospects, clients, and personnel through telephone, email, networking, and in-person interactions.
  • A strong track record of building relationships with centers of influence, including private equity, venture capital, and software companies.

Responsibilities
  • Source, develop, and win Armanino technology consulting services engagements focused on artificial intelligence.
  • Generate, identify, qualify, and pursue self-sourced leads to successful conclusions while also working firm-generated opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of sales for new business opportunities, from prospecting and scoping through proposal writing and contract negotiations.
  • Research, identify, contact, and qualify leads.
  • Continuously build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Provide leadership to peer team members in strategizing on sales cycles, go-to-market activities, and industry initiatives.
  • Actively participate in marketing initiatives to generate leads, including webinars, trade shows, and industry events.

Armanino names Anthony Sciarra as partner-in-charge of national tax practice
