Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study and a minimum of 10 years in one or more of the following: information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management required; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud network and DNS architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Configure and manage VPCs, VPN Gateways, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and Virtual Network Peering to support business-critical applications.
  • Set up and manage secure hybrid cloud connections and private inter-cloud networking, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across providers.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture strategy and transformation initiatives.
  • Direct the design and implementation of infrastructure, data, application, and technical architecture components.
  • Build and maintain automated provisioning pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and custom scripting (Python, Node.js).
  • Collaborate with application development teams building frontends in React with Tailwind CSS and backends in Flask and Node.js, ensuring seamless network integration, secure APIs, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create network documentation (diagrams, runbooks, compliance reports).
  • Lead incident response efforts for network-related events and restore services rapidly.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cloud networking at the enterprise level.
  • Mentor engineers, guide DevOps adoption, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with software, platform, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery.
  • Drive performance, availability, and scalability improvements across multi-cloud environments.
Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, networking, systems management, or DevOps engineering, including experience leading large technical projects and mentoring teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, SDN).
  • Strong experience with cloud networking services (VPC, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, Virtual Network Peering, VPN Gateway).
  • Hands-on proficiency with automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, plus scripting in Python and Node.js.
  • Experience supporting application teams using React with Tailwind CSS (frontend) and Flask/Node.js (backend).
  • Familiarity with event-driven, microservices, and serverless architectures in AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience re-architecting on-premises applications and migrating them to cloud environments.
  • CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • GCP and Azure certifications considered.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Availability for on-call rotation and occasional travel.
