Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent English at Grade A*–C (9/4) is essential.
  • GCSE or equivalent Mathematics at Grade A*–C (9/4) is essential.
  • Ability to learn a wide range of Office 365, application, and network skill sets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve client issues.
  • Ability to provide good customer service for support queries and adhere to service management principles.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the full range of IT computer problems with assistance from the IT team.
  • Install and configure systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, and resolve technical application issues in person or through remote connections.
  • Support Office 365 applications.
  • Maintain Active Directory.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Teams.
  • Create new user accounts and reset passwords.
  • Assist with ongoing IT projects.
  • Set up new IT equipment.
  • Support users with IT queries.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Provide service desk and general IT support.
  • Apply cyber awareness and take appropriate action.
  • Contribute to the rollout of the laptop replacement program.
  • Assist in managing business system implementations.
  • Work with country office support staff to research solutions to IT-related problems.
  • Talk staff and clients through a series of actions face to face or remotely.
  • Document scopes of work for IT project implementations under the guidance of the Head of IT.
  • Establish working relationships with staff, external system users, and third-party organisations.
  • Support the rollout of new applications, including procedural documentation.
  • Train and educate end users on Office 365 capabilities and collaboration tools.
  • Document work performed in the ticketing system, including details and outcomes.
  • Provide inductions and orientation on applications and services to new staff members.
  • Take a hands-on project management role with CIUK and country offices to achieve project objectives.
  • Write procedures to guide businesses in enhancing their Office 365 skills.
  • Create internal communications about application enhancements and features, how to get help, and service availability.
