Experience Level
  • 7-10 plus years of proven work experience as a VP of Finance or similar role
  • Fintech experience strongly preferred
  • Series 99 certification a plus
  • Recent experience scaling a finance operation from $75M to $200M in ARR
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. MBA preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and strong ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with CEO, President, and CFO
  • Build out best-in-class finance infrastructures for FP&A, Accounting (financial and operational), Income taxes, Treasury and Business Intelligence
  • Partner with senior management to ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue, margin, profitability and cash flow goals
  • Review and report on key financial metric to identify and address issues affecting overall performance proactively, including but not limited to revenue and gross margin (in aggregate to and by type of revenue)
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
  • Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries and reports of financial and key operational data on the operating progress of the company, including analysis relative to historical trends, budget and forecast
  • Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure
  • Ensure compliance with third party constituent's (board, lenders, investors) reporting requirements
  • Assist in fundraising activities
  • Other finance and administrative duties as required
