Job Description

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Support Lead to join our team, supporting a large program at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will provide guidance and direction for implementing and managing client service delivery and operations execution. This role requires implementing operational systems, processes, and policies, planning and defining deliverable structures and content across multiple technologies, selecting relevant tools/techniques to meet client requirements, implementing practical solutions and methodologies, applying quality standards, developing innovation and efficiency, and investigating problems using analysis, experience, and judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement operational systems, processes, and policies.
• Plan and define deliverable structures and content across multiple technologies.
• Build and maintain SharePoint sites.
• Collect and analyze data using custom MS Forms, Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel.
• Extract and analyze SharePoint/GovDelivery site data.
• Provide client support via shared mailbox monitoring and inquiry resolution.
• Prepare and present slides for client update meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience.
• Proven ability to implement operational systems, processes, and policies.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis using Excel.
• Ability to build new SharePoint sites from scratch.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certification in Project Management or Operations Management.
• Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Automate, and Dashboard tools.

Eligibility:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The proposed salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000.
