Requirements
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of FNZ platform functionality and business processes related to an assigned functional area.

Responsibilities
  • Develop business and functional solution designs and perform technical analysis of FNZ platform capabilities.
  • Analyze business processes and conduct end-to-end testing, including support for client user acceptance testing.
  • Work independently and within client-aligned teams to examine existing IT systems and business models.
  • Work with Analyst Developers to implement quality and future-proof functionality.
  • Work with Solution Consultants to support client workshops and provide input into requirements.
  • Educate and prepare internal and external customers on core FNZ platform functionality.
  • Develop, test, and support customer solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and client subject-matter experts to deliver data-mapping solutions for migrations, including analyzing, designing, and maintaining extract, transform, and load workflows; resolving issues; testing; and providing post-implementation support.
  • Design solutions within the agreed scope of changes and ensure that features are accurately documented from the end-user perspective.
  • Author user stories using business-outcome-driven syntax.
  • Produce system artifacts according to the FNZ software development life cycle and follow applicable best practices and guidelines.
  • Work with Analyst Developers and Delivery or Project Managers to ensure business requirements are met and solutions remain current.
  • Ensure new business developments comply with procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document non-functional requirements and address gaps in business and technical solutions.
  • Provide technical resources with guidance and clarity regarding business requirements and user stories.
  • Support defect management and root-cause analysis.
  • Functionally review build artifacts for the assigned functional area.
  • Interact with FNZ Sales and Service and Investment Operations functions throughout the delivery lifecycle and after implementation.
  • Define acceptance criteria covering positive and negative testing scenarios using behavior-driven development syntax.
  • Review business requirements to ensure they are quantifiable and testable.
  • Produce test designs, test matrices, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and behavioral models.
  • Perform formal and ad hoc system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and misuse-case testing.
  • Review solutions and changes functionally, and conduct end-to-end testing before production readiness.
  • Deliver user stories to clients at a high quality standard and conduct client walkthroughs of delivered functionality.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and other client-support activities.
  • Use defect-tracking and test-case-management systems to document test cases, record defects, and record execution results.
  • Raise, validate, and retest defects, and participate in defect-triage meetings.
  • Provide progress, risk, and issue updates to the Delivery Manager.
  • Work with internal and external delivery teams and promote, own, and deliver process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other Analyst Testers to share knowledge, best practices, technology, and cross-project solutions.
  • Keep current with relevant technologies, tools, and methods and identify those best suited to FNZ.
  • Proactively identify environmental, coding, and testing issues that may impede test progress and enable early resolution.
Desired Qualifications
  • General knowledge of investment, wealth, life, or pension products and the markets in which FNZ and its customers operate.
  • Experience with defect-management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with web services, test automation, performance-testing, and security-testing tools.

The investment comes from some of the world's most sophisticated investors, including La Caisse, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Generation Investment Management and Motive Partners in support of FNZ's continued transformation and long-term business plan. FNZ appoints Heukshorst as head of Client Management and Business Development. 28 August 2026 UK Reporter: Zarah Choudhary FNZ, an end-to-end global wealth management platform, has appointed Maarten Heukshorst as head of Client Management and Business Development, UK. Heukshorst brings more than 25 years of senior commercial and executive leadership experience across financial services. He has held senior roles including chief commercial officer at Centralis Group, CEO at Custodiex, and chief commercial officer for BNY Mellon Pershing EMEA, with experience in commercial strategy, client relationships, and business growth. In his role, Heukshorst will work closely with clients and colleagues across the UK business to deliver the highest standards of client service and help support the next phase of growth and development. FNZ appoints Stephen Welch as group chair to drive strategy and growth

FNZ has appointed Stephen Welch as group chair. Welch will work with the board and senior management on strategy, transformation and long-term growth plans at the wealth management technology firm. Gregor Stewart, who has served as group chair since 2024, will remain on the board as chair of the risk committee and become senior independent director. FNZ Group CEO Blythe Masters said Welch brings significant experience working with boards and leadership teams of regulated, global financial services businesses. His track record in driving transformation and operational excellence will be valuable as FNZ executes its strategy. Separately this month, Advent and an investor group including HarbourVest Partners agreed to buy FNZ Bank from FNZ.

FNZ agrees sale of FNZ Bank to Advent. FNZ, the leading global wealth management platform, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell FNZ Bank to Advent, and a consortium including HarbourVest Partners ("HarbourVest"). Completion of the transaction is expected to occur in the second half of 2027, subject to customary regulatory and other approvals. The divestment is consistent with FNZ's strategy of focusing on its core wealth management technology business and serving large financial institutions at scale. The transaction supports FNZ's long-term growth ambitions by reinforcing its positioning as a technology platform provider for wealth businesses globally, including in Germany where FNZ Bank remains a key client. Following completion of the transaction, FNZ and FNZ Bank intend to continue their long-standing partnership, leveraging FNZ's technology capabilities to support the bank's continued growth and client offering. FNZ will continue to partner with wealth management institutions across continental Europe, including Germany, Switzerland and the Nordics, as they modernise their technology platforms.
