Augury provides AI-powered solutions for machine and process health in manufacturing through its Production Health platform. It uses proprietary wireless IoT sensors to collect real-time data (vibration, temperature, magnetic) from equipment and uploads it to a cloud platform where AI detects anomalies, diagnoses root causes, and prescribes actions, while Process Health offers real-time production optimization to increase yield and reduce waste and energy use. It differentiates itself with a large, domain-specific data set (over 1.1 billion hours of monitored machine time) and a full-stack approach, enhanced by acquisitions of Alluvium and Seebo to add operational analytics and process intelligence. The goal is to shift maintenance from reactive to predictive and prescriptive, boosting uptime, throughput, yield, and overall manufacturing efficiency.

What critics are saying

  • Rockwell's Fiix MAX can absorb Augury's value, crushing pricing by September 2026.
  • Augury still depends on sensor deployments and long industrial sales cycles to convert pilots.
  • If Rockwell owns execution, Augury becomes a commodity sensing layer inside someone else's stack.

What makes Augury unique

  • Augury's 1.1 billion machine hours and 2026 Industrial Context Graph deepen model moat.
  • July 23, 2026 Rockwell partnership embeds Augury insights inside Fiix workflows.
  • Machine Health Ultra Low monitors 1-150 RPM assets competitors still miss.

Rockwell, Augury target AI insights.

Rockwell, Augury target AI insights. Rockwell Automation and industrial AI company Augury spotted an opportunity to help industries make sense of the vast pools of data the technology is now generating, teaming on a product focused on delivering usable information to manufacturers. The US-headquartered automation company explained the partnership with Augury would benefit businesses seeking to employ AI in predictive ways spanning maintenance, reliability and overall industrial performance. Rockwell Automation's own research indicates less than half of all data collected is being used in effective ways, despite the growing ability for AI to execute on the insights it provides. "Manufacturers don't need more alerts, they need a faster path to action," Angela Rapko, VP and GM of Visualisation and Asset Management at Rockwell Automation explained. The set-up uses relevant products from each company to provide the route highlighted by the executive: Rockwell Automation stated it enables manufacturers to go beyond "early issue detection and diagnosis". The Augury agent "continuously analyses machine conditions" for potential problems and generates ideas on how to avoid or fix them. Rockwell Automation's assistant is used to make sense of the recommendations to provide "maintenance workflows, work orders and orchestration of execution activities". Rockwell Automation indicated the partnership could be foundational in future agentic AI developments in addition to the companies' more practical aim of helping industrial players to improve the efficiency of their manufacturing operations. The companies aim to provide initial access to the set-up from September.

Rockwell Automation and Augury partner to improve industrial performance with agentic AI.

Rockwell Automation and Augury partner to improve industrial performance with agentic AI. Joint offering connects industrial AI insights, reliability recommendations, maintenance execution and production context to help manufacturers improve industrial performance and close the gap between insight and action. MILWAUKEE - July 23, 2026 - Rockwell Automation, Inc. (opens in new tab) (NYSE: ROK), the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, and Augury, a leader in industrial AI, today announced a strategic technology and go-to-market partnership designed to help manufacturers turn insights into action to improve reliability, maintenance execution, and industrial performance. Manufacturers today have access to more industrial data than ever before, yet many still struggle to turn insights into action. According to Rockwell Automation's 11th annual State of Smart Manufacturing Report, only 43% of collected data is being used effectively. As manufacturers increasingly invest in AI and digital technologies, the ability to connect insights with execution has become a key driver of industrial performance. The joint solution brings together Augury's Industrial AI Workforce with Rockwell Automation's AI infused portfolio including Fiix(R) computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (opens in new tab) and FactoryTalk(R) Optix(TM) to help manufacturers move from early issue detection and diagnosis to maintenance planning, execution and continuous improvement through a connected reliability workflow. A key differentiator of the partnership is the integration between Augury's Reliability Agent and Rockwell's Fiix MAX, an AI-powered maintenance assistant. Together, these AI-powered agents help bridge the gap between identifying machine health risks and executing maintenance actions. Augury's Reliability Agent continuously analyzes machine conditions, detects emerging issues and recommends corrective actions, while Fiix MAX helps translate those recommendations into maintenance workflows, work orders and orchestration of execution activities - creating a more connected path from insight to action. "Manufacturers don't need more alerts - they need a faster path to action," said Angela Rapko, vice president and general manager, Visualization and Asset Management at Rockwell Automation. "By integrating Augury's Reliability Agent with Fiix MAX, we're connecting machine health intelligence directly to maintenance execution. Together, we're helping customers reduce the time between identifying a problem and resolving it while creating the foundation for future AI-driven maintenance workflows." The partnership also creates a foundation for new agentic workflows. Building on Rockwell Automation's existing condition-based maintenance and industrial performance capabilities enabled through Fiix and FactoryTalk Optix, the integration of Augury's AI capabilities provides additional insights. By connecting machine health insights and production data, customers can better prioritize and act on the improvements most likely to increase plant performance, extending the value of industrial AI beyond maintenance and into day-to-day operations. "Manufacturers need AI that fits into how they operate. We built the Industrial AI Workforce to put trusted industrial intelligence in the hands of front-line teams. Partnering with Rockwell brings that intelligence with the systems that manufacturers rely on every day, making it easier to move from understanding what's happening to executing the right action," says Elan Greenberg, Augury CEO. The initial offer is expected to be available in September. Additional details regarding availability and commercialization plans will be shared closer to launch. About Rockwell Automation. Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation. Augury launches Industrial AI Workforce with Google Cloud and AVEVA for manufacturing operations

Augury, an industrial AI company, is developing its Industrial AI Workforce, featuring role-based agents designed to bridge insight-to-action gaps for manufacturers. Built on Augury's Machine Health solution, the agents combine operational data from AVEVA CONNECT with Google's Gemini models to create adaptive production environments. The system centres on the Industrial Context Graph, which connects machine health signals with operational and environmental data. Global minerals company ICL Group is already testing the agents for root cause analysis and yield optimisation. The solution is built on Google Cloud through an independent software vendor partnership, with AVEVA integration via its Managed Solution programme. Augury plans to preview the Industrial AI Workforce at AVEVA World in Milan, demonstrating the shift from reactive operations to AI-driven autonomous production.

Augury and MaintainX integrate AI-driven machine insights with automated work orders for real-time maintenance

Augury, an industrial AI company, has partnered with MaintainX to integrate AI-driven machine health insights directly into work order management. When Augury detects a machine anomaly, a work order is automatically created in MaintainX with diagnostic context and recommended actions, enabling immediate technician response. The integration creates a closed-loop system where completed work feeds back into Augury, improving AI accuracy over time. This shifts maintenance from fixed schedules to dynamic, condition-based operations driven by real-time machine data. The solution is available immediately to the companies' shared customers with no custom implementation required. Both firms aim to reduce unplanned equipment downtime through predictive maintenance that turns insights into traceable actions in real time.
