About the Role:

In this role, we’re looking for a web growth leader to own our web experiences with a focus on guiding developers and buyers to adopt Redpanda. You will own the performance, vision, and strategy for all Redpanda web properties. 

You Will: 

Web Experience Roadmap Lead:

• Define, align, and own the multi-year web experience roadmap outlining key initiatives like a unified information experience, growth conversion capabilities, developer experience modules, and lead generation data capture integrations
• Conduct research and analysis of modern web UX trends, competitor websites, and internal stakeholders to inform roadmap priorities
• Communicate and secure alignment on roadmap priorities with stakeholders including executives, product leaders, and marketing heads
• Own web experience deliverables and progress across agency and in-house resources

Website Performance Management:

• Align stakeholders around business revenue and userbase goals, define and monitor meaningful web KPIs that influence those goals across traffic, conversions, engagement, and journey indicators
• Provide regular reporting across primary web performance targets while highlighting above/below target rationale

Marketing Growth Alignment:

• Lead marketing web growth meetings and discussions to ensure project priorities, ownership, and deliverables are on track
• Identify growth opportunities for the website with marketing channels including social media, email, digital advertising, and community(Slack, Redpanda Masterclass+University)
• Identify product signup opportunities through user journey analysis in order to maximize Redpanda trial sign ups and adoption

Information Architecture Development:

• Develop a long term information architecture design through user research, interviews, competitive analysis, and internal stakeholders to help users learn, consider, and adopt Redpanda
• Design a clear information hierarchy that guides and educates a diverse set of personas(data engineers, app developers, data architects, data leadership)  
• Collaborate with product UX designers, doc writers, content developers, and web designers to translate the information architecture into a user-friendly and intuitive web experience

Experimentation and Optimization:

• Define a web experimentation framework to drive performance improvements
• Define test protocols for hypotheses based experiments based on historical data and business objectives
• Establish test guidelines for selecting the right testing methodologies like A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization experiments
• Outline best practices for data collection, analysis, and interpretation to ensure reliable and actionable insights.
• Develop a timeline for each experiment, outlining testing duration, data analysis schedule, and reporting deadlines.
• Regularly review and adjust the roadmap based on ongoing results, emerging trends, and new data insights 

Web Experience Reviews:

• Lead quarterly web experience reviews presenting performance against KPIs, key achievements, and upcoming initiatives
• Facilitate discussions with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to gather feedback, address concerns, and adjust roadmap initiatives
• Track and identify web investments based on roadmap and performance goals

U.S. base salary range for this role is $126,000 - $148,000 (CA, NY, WA) and $110,000 - $130,000 (other U.S. locations). . Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
