Requirements
  • Previous experience in Front Office or Night Audit, preferably in four- or five-star hotels.
  • Experience with a property management system such as Opera or a similar system.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting processes and cash handling.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A Category B driving license.
  • The candidate must be a citizen of the European Union or possess a valid work permit for Spain.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome, register, and bid farewell to guests during the night shift while providing professional, warm, and efficient service.
  • Act as the main overnight point of contact for guest requests, concerns, and special situations.
  • Resolve complaints and sensitive situations according to established protocols, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable environment in public areas and the lobby during the shift.
  • Promote and perform upselling of rooms and hotel services when operations allow.
  • Execute all night audit and daily closing procedures accurately.
  • Review rates, routings, taxes, charges, and transactions to ensure financial integrity.
  • Perform cash reconciliations, fund balancing, and cash control according to Finance department standards.
  • Generate and distribute nightly financial and operational reports within established deadlines.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or process deviations and report them promptly.
  • Oversee lobby and public-area activity during the night shift, ensuring order and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with Security and Maintenance regarding technical issues or risk situations.
  • Participate in emergency management according to the hotel’s emergency response plan.
  • Control access and manage the issuance and safekeeping of master keys when required.
  • Review next-day arrivals, departures, and requests and update the property management system.
  • Prepare VIP reservations, late arrivals, and special profiles accurately.
  • Maintain structured communication with the day shift through incident reports and follow-up notes.
  • Update guest profiles and comments accurately in the hotel management system.
  • Represent the Front Office during the night shift in the absence of management.
  • Support the training of new team members in audit procedures and night service standards when required.
  • Lead by example by conveying professionalism, composure, and a strong service orientation.

  • Studies in tourism, hospitality, or business administration are considered an asset.
  • Additional languages are an asset.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong discipline in handling cash and financial procedures.
  • A service-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
