Requirements
  • Graduation from a physician assistant program and certification by Washington State, or a Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, or equivalent nurse practitioner degree.
  • Current Washington State registered nurse licensure and current Washington State advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State, or current Washington State physician assistant certification licensure and prescriptive authority.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Maintenance of appropriate continuing medical education credits according to Washington State and Olympic Medical Center Medical Staff requirements.
  • Maintenance of appropriate privileges and membership on the Olympic Medical Center Medical Staff.
Responsibilities
  • Provide primary-care-level immediate access to patients of all ages in the Walk-In Clinics.
  • Provide person-centered outpatient care as part of a multispecialty rural healthcare system.
  • Rotate coverage of weekends and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of prior experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician is preferred but not required.
