Job Description:

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering, and backhauling activities.

Job Description

• Hire, train and manage assigned delivery driver personnel.  Including payroll and PTO oversight.

• Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy, and productivity.

• Fleet Maintenance, make sure that trucks are in DOT compliance, PM’s completed, and any necessary repairs are made in a timely manner.

• Be flexible and capable of being on a delivery route if needed.

• Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery, routing teams and customer service departments.

• Regular attendance, timeliness, and adherence to Johnson Brothers PTO policy.

• Monitor Drivers pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.

• Maintain a valid CDL license (preferred).

• Ability to accurately follow processes, procedures, and solution any issues that may arise.

• Payroll and PTO oversight.

• To include any other requests made by Management not included in these specifically outlined.

Job Requirements

• 3+  years of experience in delivery operations.

• Proficient in DOT regulations.

• Familiar with GPS tracking software (Samsara preferred).

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications.

• AS400 experience preferred.
