Requirements
  • An active or reinstatable Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Twelve years of professional or educational experience and a Bachelor of Science degree, or four additional years in place of a Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Unix-based systems.
  • Experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices.
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
  • Ability to produce and modify software systems in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
  • Ability to support fielded software systems.
  • Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities
  • Augment existing toolsets.
  • Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
  • Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
  • Produce end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
  • Design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions for network-based devices as a general-purpose CNO reverse engineer.
  • Work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other software engineers to provide mission tactical support.
  • Provide technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a U.S. Government customer.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms, including real-time operating systems.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust.
  • Experience developing CNO-specific software in Linux, Windows, or embedded applications.
  • Experience with vulnerability research and exploit development.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
